We currently have JIRA configured to create JIRA issues when an email is sent to a specified email address. The projects are Type = Classic Software.
I am hoping to train a group to create a Next-Gen project (as their requirements are minimal), but one of the requirements is to create an issue from an email. Is this possible in a Next Gen Project? If so, is it configured differently than in the Classic Software projects?
Thanks.
Hello Angie,
Thank you for reaching out to Community!
The configuration of the incoming email for next-gen is the same as the classic project, so you can follow the same steps as you did when configured the mail handler for the classic one.
If you have any other questions regarding this matter, please let us know.
Regards,
Angélica
