I have been routinely exporting .ics files from Team Calendars as a backup. I am now faced with actually having to use them as a team member accidentally altered several events in the calendar.
Is it better to:
a) delete and recreate the calendar, importing the backup file?
or
b) simply import the backup .ics file and remove offending events
My main concerns is understanding the behavior of the import.
Does importing from a backup .ics file blindly add all events or is it smart enough to not add duplicate events?
Thanks for any guidance you can provide.
It appears the import function only creates a new calendar. The answer was to import backups unto a new calendar and delete the old one. Better than nothing.
