Issue with intercom integration with Status Page

Statuspage Intercom integration in the home section of Intercom chat widget doesn’t get updated automatically when switching between pages or when calling manually Intercom(‘update’). We can see that welcome message gets updated just fine as a result of manual update but Statuspage stays outdated.

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian support My name is Siddhartha from the Statuspage support team, Could you please help log a support ticket with us by visiting the link support.atlassian.com we need to investigate the issue by checking the statuspage account details.

The way Statuspage incidents work, is that if no components are selected/no component status is changed, to for example, "Major outage", the page status will in fact display as "All Systems Operational", even though there is an active incident - That would match what you are seeing on Intercom.

In this case, to get the best usage out of the app, you might want to create some components, and make sure they are selected and their status changed accordingly when there is an active incident. Some related documentation:
