Is there a way to hide a component?

When we're first setting up a component, it would be great for it to be hidden, visible only to owners, or something similar. We also need to create the component to get its ID so we can feed that into other systems and would rather it not be showing until it's fully active.

I don't believe there is a way to achieve what you're after. Once a component is created, it's available to all users in the project, and there's only a delete option - no disable
