Email subscription not delivered for test incident

I subscribed to my own statuspage with a working (but separate from my statuspage account) email address. I received the confirmation email to finalize my subscription as expected. However, I then posted an incident (as a test) and didn't receive any email to the confirmed address. Timeline-wise, I added the incident within 5 minutes of confirming my account and have waited roughly 30 minutes since posting the incident and still not received any email notification.

Something I'm missing on why I wouldn't receive the email notification?

Thanks, @Mark Campbell-Vincent - I should update...it did eventually start sending as expected and has worked since. Not sure why the hold up but all is okay now. Thanks for the reply!
