My organisation has really quite strict timings around informing customers when there is a service disruption.
I know you can send an email to status page at a component level and have a component show as degraded etc but this doesn’t inform any subscribers. What I’m looking to do is auto create an incident or a message to subscribers when spot something , either via email, an api call or other method , does anyone know if this is possible ?
Yes, you can create a Statuspage Incident via API
One note when auto creating an Incident in Statuspage - You should update the Component status first, otherwise when the email goes out for the Incident the affected Component would show as Operational.
