Adding third-party component using API

Hi,

I would like to know if there is a way to add an third-party component (like AWS RDS eu-west*1) using API and/or IAC (terraform).

I could not find any ID to specify an existing component in the API doc

Hi Julien,

This is Jesse from the Statuspage support team. Thanks for reaching out to the community with your question about third-party components and the API.

There is no endpoint to subscribe to these third-party components. When you add one of these components within the application, it creates the component with its own unique Component ID. This needs to be setup manually.

I hope this information was helpful in clarifying how they are added.
