If I run the setup wizard, I can specify my username and password for Github. Right afterwards, if I check Tools > Options > Authentication, I see an entry for my username/host/password. After some amount of time where I leave Sourcetree running in the background, it starts prompting me for my password, and when I check the options, my saved username no longer appears.
This is Sourcetree 1.4.1.0, on Windows 7.
Thanks.
Temporary solution: disabled the option to check for remote updates.
Tools >> Options >> General >>

Disadvantage: I have to update manually. (pull or fetch).
I have the same problem for one account, while another account is stored correctly.
Strangely this account is working fine on another computer with SourceTree.
Both computers have the same SourceTree version: 1.9.6.1

Same issue with 1.6.5.0 on Windows 7 with SP1, but only on 1 machine.
I have 2 other windows machines used by colleagues with same windows 7 SP1 install and updates, neither of them are having issues. It immediately saves my login information, options will show it.. come back a few hours later, it'll prompt me again, and the login information no longer shows up in the options.

+1. Same issue. SoureTree unreliably remembers the PW.
I'm on 1.5.2.0
