Hi, It looks like a bug from the past is haunting us again:
https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Sourcetree-questions/Fatal-could-not-read-Password-for-https-username-bitbucket-org/qaq-p/768105
https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Sourcetree-questions/Device-not-configured-error/qaq-p/767223
When I am trying to finish a feature, for example, I get this error:
fatal: could not read Password for 'https://<USERNAME>@github.com': Device not configured
Fatal: Could not fetch feature/XYZ-123 from origin.
I have the latest version of Source Tree for Mac (3.0.5, build #205).
Can you help with that?
Hi Piotr,
We will be reviewing Git-Flow support in an upcoming release due to some incompatibilities that cropped up when switching to the AVH fork. In the meantime you could try using the Sourcetree 2.7.3 release, which is the latest one prior to that upgrade, to perform the specific actions which are failing for you.
