How Stash integrates with Visual Studio and Jira?

I have two questions:

Can Stash get integrated with Visual Studio through your IDE connector and how it affects to Jira?

Can I use another repository manager like SourceTree/ SmartGit/ GitHG integrated with Visual Studio and Jira?

We don't have plans to integrate Stash with Visual Studio via the IDE Connector in the foreseable future. We recommend SourceTree to manage your Git repositories on Windows.

Note that SourceTree and SmartGit are not repository management tools. They are local clients that talk to the remote repository.
