Hi,
I am trying to connect to a repo through HTTPS in SourceTree. I can see the branches, but when I try to fetch the latest changes I get the following error:
"fatal: Authentication failed for..."
I tried searching for an answer, and I found this thread:
But when I access the folder ~/Library/Application Support/SoureTree I cannot find a passwd file to delete, as the thread suggests.
Here are some details regarding the versions:
MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6
SourceTree version: 2.7.6
Git version 2.17.1
Please help me. Is there any solutions I can try?
First thing, please update to the version 3.0 which is the latest. We have made some big changes for authentication mechanisms in this release and these should be able to help with your issue. You can then remove your accounts added in Sourcetree and add then back to see if it helps.
