subversion vs mercurial integration

Carsten Winsnes February 13, 2012

We would perfer to sync directly with our bitbucket (mercurial) account, but under the "Souce" tab we only see 'This project is using SVN". We diabled SVN under settings (set to None). Is this possible? Did we miss a setting? Does JIRA need a local SVN to work?

Thanks.

Hi Carsten,

Within Atlassian OnDemand it's only possible to use the in-built subversion with FishEye and Crucible. You can integrate your mercurial repository on bitbucket with JIRA though, check out the following documentation for more information:

http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Linking+a+bitbucket+or+GitHub+repository+with+JIRA+OnDemand

We have a feature request currently open to integrate BitBucket fully with OnDemand, the ID is:

https://studio.atlassian.com/browse/JST-5644

Cheers,

Matt
