Installing JIRA

James Vinson February 18, 2013

I have installed JIRA and have the "access JIRA" , "Start Jira" and "Stop JIRA" on my start menu. After clicking on start JIRA and trying to access it from my web browser, it is not happening. How do I move formward? The web browser automatically opens when I click on access JIRA but it looks blank. I also tried through crome and firefox but they dont give me results either

Are you running JIRA as a Windows Service or through the command line?

What are you seeing in the browser? Any HTTP status codes?

Have you verified that JIRA started properly in the logs? <jira-home>/log/atlassian-jira.log should tell you.
