Group assignment of Tasks

I have switched on the group assignee field and the field has started appearing in all the Create Issue Screens. Now after I create a task I select Group to which the task needs to be assigned under Group Assignee field. I was expectingthe task to be available under Task Board in each group member login under ASIIGNED TO ME but unfortunately I cannot see the same under respective logins

Er, what "group assignee field"? There is no such field in Jira (I am guessing that this is the product you are talking about?)
