Hi Atlassian team! We're having a problem with creating new Jira tickets. I am the default assignee as the project lead for all issues. But we have the Assignee field visible in the Create Issue view. And when someone chooses an assignee besides me from the Create Issue screen, it just reverts back to me after the issue is created instead of sticking with the selected assignee. Any idea what's going on?

I'm not sure if this is the case, but you may have a post-function configured inside an workflow associated with the project, to automatically change the assignee of the issue to the Project Lead.

Another question Bruno. What if he wanted the to stay whenever someone edited teh assingnee field. So instead of it sticking to the component lead, it stays as the changed assignee.
