No option to add all on call users in a schedule

Arti Bagewadi June 10, 2024

Hi Team,

There is no option to send alerts to all the users in the schedule. Only option available is next user on call in schedule.

We wanted to send alerts to all the users in schedule if the on call person does not acknowledge the alert.

Can we have this feature please?

or can you share any workaround to achieve this?

Hi Team,
I know about the whole team, but here I do not want to escalate to whole team, i just want all the users in particular schedule to be escalated. Is that possible?

all the users in particular schedule ==> means on-call users? I think it's the default functionality to notify the on-call users defined in the schedule.

Our schedule is weekly schedule so it won't notify all users in schedule, it will only notify the person who is on call that particular week. But if due to certain reasons that particular person does not acknowledge alert we wanted to send alerts to all on call users in that particular schedule and not the whole team.

As we are distributed team across geographies, we don't want to wake a person in the middle of the night.

Hence the ask if we can somehow route the alerts to all the users only in that particular time zone schedule which we have already set.

Hi @Arti Bagewadi

Welcome to our Community.

As far as I know, from the Team entry, I can customize an escalation:

when 15 min passed from the alert creation and no acknowlege (no person to look into), then escalate to the whole team.

Hope it helps.

Thanks,

YY哥
