Hello Team,
Good Evening.
This is regarding a query that we need your support with.
We are using opsgenie and statuspage as tools in our event management platform.
As part of this we are having some web hook integrations where we try to get updates from the statuspage of external vendors and it gets reported into our opsgenie console as vendor outages.
But due to some issue, these alerts are not reporting in our statuspage, even though we have an integration in place with our opsgenie and statuspage tool.
We need your guidance and support in order to resolve this issue.
We have many other alerts reported from opsgenie that is still getting reported in the status page as part of our opsgenie and status page integration.
Only this webhook integration alerts from external vendor status page is only getting reported in our opsgenie page but not from opsgenie to our statuspage.
Kindly check and please suggest.
Thanks and Regards
Deepu Sasidharan
Hi @Deepu Sasidharan ,
External services in Opsgenie create incidents, which then create alerts that flow to Statuspage. If your Statuspage integration is assigned to a team, that means that only alerts where that assigned team is a responder will be processed by the integration.
You will want to be sure to configure any external services so that they have an owner team that matches the team assigned to the Statuspage integration. This will cause the responder alerts created by the incident to have the same team as the Statuspage integration.
If that is not the issue I would try looking at the alert filters to be sure they are not filtering. out any alerts created by external services.
