I am trying to create a custom on-call schedule for the team. I need to setup a person on call for our deployments only, every 2 weeks for 2 days only. However it triggers a weekly schedule. I don't see any way to make a rotation custom based on this.
In this case, you would want to create a custom rotation type, with a shift length of '2-days.' Then you could either add the other users to that schedule, or if they are not working 2-day-interval shifts (2 days, 4 days, 6 days etc) you could fill in that schedule with the No-one option:
