Android App (on MIUI 12.5.7 - based on Android 11) doesn't play sound nor let me change sound

Opsgenie APP doesn't play any sound on MIUI 12.

Opsgenie APP always shows the default sound which is for all apps on my phone:

But it doesn't matter if i change the sound to something else, sound doesn't get played (but Opsgenie takes note of the change).

I'm also not able to change the sound in the APP it self.
By clicking e.g. "New Alert" following setting-menu appears:

The only change which immediatly works is enabling/disabling "vibration". 

 

I've explicitly allowed the opsgenie app the permission to read media folders

I'm sorry to learn this Opsgenie Android app isn't working as expected on your phone.

  • May I ask was this app able to play sound before or is it your first time using it?
  • If a reinstallation of this app helps?

I'm using the App for the first time and reinstallation doesn't solved the issue.
