Can't change sounds

So as the title says I'm not able to change the app's sounds.

I go to My Profile->Sounds and whenever I tap on any sound I can change the notification's configuration, but not the sound itself. Is this a bug or I'm doing something wrong? (Screens below)

The phone I'm using is a Redmi 8 Pro, with MIUI 12 (based on android 10).

Could the Phone be in silent mode. For and an Android phone one can override setting for force a sound. Maybe this is an option ..

Sorry for the delay on the response. No that's not the issue. As described on the post I can not change the sound being played (the actual phone's audio volume does not fix this).

By default it will pick the default notification sound, and if I change that sound on the system it will get changed on the app, but I still can't have different sounds for different events (schedule start or new alert).

Is there a place to report bugs like this one?
