Hey all!
Long time reader, first time poster.
All the documentation for JSM indicates that "knowledge base articles" can be displayed in the help center... it doesn't, however, appear to clarify what "articles" includes.
From what I can tell it only includes pages... but hoping for clarification!
e.g. if I have a database with a line item that matches the search is that included? blog posts? white boards? etc.
Hi @Robert Hean
Welcome to the posting part of the community :-)
This is my test 'Help Centre' where you can post 'Topics', but also articles will display if I start typing into the Help Centre Search
I'm making an assumption on your question that you have enterwd something into the Search bar, and 'Articles' appear.
From the Help Centre, if you go to the top right and click on your photo/avatar, you will get a drop down list that shows this panel and then if you hit Page Layout, then you will see the Topics you can add below.
If, I'm off track, and you are looking for where the 'articles' come from, then that's inside your Project -> Project Settings -> Knowledge Base.
Hope this helps (it did me, I forgot how to add Topics)

Hey @Mark Higgins - appreciate your response!
Your assumption is correct, "articles" do appear. My question is what does JSM consider an "article" when it's connected to Confluence?
Pages certainly show up, but I can't seem to get Blogs, Databases, Links or Whiteboards to appear.
For example "github" appears in a database I've got, but fails to appear in the search, while other terms (e.g. "jayquill") appear in pages and in the search.
Selfishly I'd love for database entries to be included, but just need confirmation they don't (e.g. that I'm not doing something wrong :D )

Hi @Robert Hean
Ah, yes, at the moment, Articles are just 'pages', to the best of my knowledge.
Cheers
