Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You have never been able to clone a project (without apps or scripting).  The closest you can get to a "clone" is an empty project that shares the same settings with an existing project.

When you create a new project, look for the "share settings with an existing project" tick box

Hi @B. Ricardo Blanco

A late welcome to the community from me!

As Nic said, this isn't possible in base Jira, but if you still want to clone projects and are willing to use third-party apps, our app Deep Clone for Jira can clone projects with or without its issues.

You can find more details on how to do that with the app in our documentation.
