Team-managed projects now have easier setup with request type templates

The Jira Service Management team is excited to introduce request type templates for team-managed projects, building on the success of this feature in company-managed projects.

Our request type templates provide an easy starting point for creating new request types, so you quickly get started collecting incoming requests from teams across your organization. Leverage over 50 request type templates for a range of teams like HR, facilities, finance, legal, marketing, design, and more.

This solution looks to tackle the issue of to effectivly facilitate internal ticket tracking "within the company".  What about external clientele?  Could you please provide details regarding the reporting capabilities it offers?

Hi @Sam_A_Martin  thanks for sharing your thoughts and question. The request type templates are a starting point, so you and modify as you need to suit the context of the support request (if internal or external). TMP projects have portal and email requests so you can have anyone submit a request depending on your settings (in Channels). Most of the request type templates should have the fields need for those OOTB reports that come with the project template, but we don't have any new reports specifically with our feature release.
