Can JSM datacentre be run with only JSM license or a JIRA license is also required ?

We want to setup a small JSM instance. Will we need to buy JIRA DC licnese as well to setup JSM ?

Hi @Abdul Rehman ,

Both Jira Software and Jira Service Management are separate products so if you only require JSM you just buy a license for JSM.

The JSM license will be a DC JSM license (if you wish to work on premise) or you could also look at the cloud offering.

So DC (DataCenter) is a flavor of installation and then you choose the product(s) you need being JSM and/or JSW

As Dirk, for a "small instance" I would recommand the Cloud offer.
