How do Versions help in Jira Service Desk?

Hello @Yamni R

It helps when JSD is used to provide support on a development / integration / operational  team. The customers can create requests and chose the version which they use. 

Thanks, @Richard Bouchacourt . Other than that, is there any case that's uniquely used for JSD alone? 

I don't think so. 
This is the main function.
