unable to edit or change the owner of a dashboard

The person that was the Owner on a Software Project has left.

His User has been removed.

We cannot change the owner or lead of the project??

Hello,

You can change the project lead:

Go to project settings -> People (or User and Roles on Server)

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

It means that you are on Jira Cloud and you ve got a next-gen projects. You can not change project lead for next-gen projects.

Just deactivate the user.
