issuefieldmatch comment regex

I am trying to find issues that might have comments that include four numbers and a dash 1111-

issueFunction in issueFieldMatch("project=HD", "comment", "^4[0-9]") am I doing something wrong?

"comment" is not a regular field, and can't be used like that. I'm not really sure how to do what you're doing short of writing a custom script.
