how to calculate total time in each status category

I have a project (the form) that my employees fill out for each of their projects that includes a drop-down Status field. The drop-down selection includes the following:

• Pending Estimate
• In Progress
• Pending Feedback
• Returned
• Done

Is there a way I can create a chart that shows the average amount of time our projects are sitting in each one of these Status categories?

You can solve this question using our Time in status for Jira Cloud by SaaSjet 

This tool gets the information about time in status for each stage in workflow and average time in status by each issue. 

You can view the data from all reports as tables or as charts. Each of them is available for export.

Also, the application generates other types of reports, you get more information about them and try the free trial version on the Atlassian marketplace.
