how can i format a table in an email so the task appears in a table?

when i create a jira task via email, and the info is in a table, the table cells appear in the jira ticket in a vertical pattern.

each cell is on another line.

is there a way to program this, so the table comes in complete?

Can you please send us a screenshot of the ticket showing the table?
This will help us to better understand how is it appearing and we will try to reproduce here.

Hi Toby,

This issue may be related to the new issue view.
Can you please disable the new view and check if the ticket shows the table correctly?
This can be done by Clicking on the Profile Icon at the bottom left -> Personal Settings (or Profile). Under the "Labs" section, disable the "New Jira Issue View".
