can I filter by project category?

Is it possible to create a filter using "Project Category?"  Thank you!

Project Category = Category, is available in JQL and prompts me with the correct values when I use this field as a search criteria.

Why can't I use that same field Category as Order By?

The category is an attribute of Project, hence it is not allowed to be added as a column hence is not available for Orderby.
