Why is my KANBAN board showing issues from another KANBAN board?

Ureee May 18, 2020

I am preparing two KANBAN boards (representing departments) for a specific project:

For example:

Project A

Board A (Marketing dprt)
Board B (Sales dprt)

Board C (Engineering dprt)

Now, Board A, B and C can see each others tasks (how do I limit it to only seeing what each department created?

Thank you.

Boards are not containers of issues, they are a view of a selection of issues.

You'll need to change the board filters so that they only select the issues you want.  I'd guess each one needs a filter like "Department = xxx"

How should I set it? I'm trying it with labels at the moment. Would that suffice?

Only if the board filter refers to them.  Look towards the top right of the board for the configuration options for it.  You'll find the filter in the first tab.

Use "Board Settings" to get to the configuration
