Where is the page comments field?

This is probably a question with an obvious answer...but I don't see any comments field in the bottom of my pages. Do I need to insert one? is it there automatically and I am just not seeing it?

Yep the answer was obvious. Comment field is not on the overview page, but appears automatically on the the sub pages.

what "page" are you looking at? It could be that the comments aren't on that view OR that you don't have permissions to comment. Screenshot?

Are you talking about the Jira issue view screen comment?

if so, then there is no need to add the extra comment field on it... it's by default available.

Please check whether you have the add comment rights or not.
