What is the best approach to link JIRA and Stash

My question is how should I create the project structure in Stash so that I have no problems in the feature. Should I create for every project in JIRA the dependent project in Stash. So that the project key in JIRA matches the project key in Stash? Or can I create a generic project and then host my projects in repositories?

Stash requires no special project structure required to do JIRA linking. All JIRA keys will be linked in Stash, and all changesets across all Stash projects/repositories for a JIRA key will be shown in the JIRA source tab.
