This issue type is well configured like all the others and in the admin sections it is also opened to use.

It's not possible to open a subtask with the create button. You have to open it only as a subordinate / dependent issue of something else. Please can you verify that you're trying to create a subtask from inside another issue, like a story or a task?

@Nissim Ariel You have to create subtasks with the + Add button (top left) and not via the linked issues.
+ Create linked issue is only for creating other related issues in the same hierarchy or above.

This is under the global settings, Issues, and then in the subtasks section.

you say the issue type is well configured: Have you also checked if the issue type 'Sub-task' is assigned in the workflow scheme for this project?
