Want to hide workflow transition resolve issue

Hi All,

Use Case: Want to hide the resolve issue transition unless the ticket/alert is assigned to the logged in user(jira-user). 

Note: The Assignee is some other use(jira-administrator)

Can we create such restrictions?

Hi @Manoj Kumar 

Yes you can using workflow conditions - to do this you'll to be a Jira Admin and then:

1. Go to Jira Administration > Issues > Workflows
2. Locate and edit your workflow in diagram view
3. Select the resolve transition and select conditions from the pop-up
4. Add the condition "Only Assignee Condition"
5. Publish the new workflow

This will ensure that only the assignee can enable the transition.
