Wallboard plugin cannot be enabled

Hugo Emond July 4, 2011

We're trying to install the Wallboard plugin in our JIRA sandbox. But there's a problem when we try to enable it:

LinkProvider for the default wallboard generator (wallboard-generator-link-provider)
Error occurred: Support for this module is not currently installed.

Here's the Greenhopper version we are using:

Plugin Version: 5.4.1
JIRA Version: 4.2

Is my install problem really related to this "Link provider" beacuse I coudn't find any helpfull documentation on it other than http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GHDEV/GreenHopper+LinkProvider+Plugin+Documentation which was no help.

My Greenhopper version is 5.4.1 but looks like I needed Jira 4.3.

I was hoping it would work anyway but it doesn't.

Since it'a a versionning issue, I will ask my admin for an upgarde.

Thnak you for your time!

The wallboard plugin is using link provider module, offered by GreenHopper plugin. GreenHopper introduced this module since it's version 5.3 (as stated in the documentation you were looking at), hence, you might want to check that you have this version (or newer) in JIRA.
