Have you turned off keyboard shortcuts?

Hi @Christina Sheehan in my instance, I'm still able to type 'w' on an open ticket in Jira and JSM and the w is either adding me or removing me as a watcher. Have you by chance tried a different browser, rebooted your PC, flushed browser cache and/or removed cookies to see if it's still an issue? Do other users on your instance experience the same behavior?
I'm trying to eliminate some possibilities from a troubleshooting perspective. I took a quick look on Atlassian's Jira Site and didn't see an open issues for this functionality. If you've tried all those things, you could have your System Administrator open a ticket with Atlassian Support and have them weigh in on this as well.
