I have two boards that I thought were set up the same, about a year apart. However, on the old board, I cannot see sub-tasks on the timeline or assign a specific completion window; but on the new board, I can. Are these boards different styles or was there some update made that includes this new functionality and it only applies to new boards?
I'm trying to decide if I want to create a new board to replace the older board and migrate all of the issues over so that I can add timeline windows to the sub-tasks (because right now, it's a mess and could use some organization).

Those are two different products and project types:
The first one is a Jira Software, company-managed, Kanban board, showing the Timeline view.
The second one is a Jira Work Management, company-managed, board, showing the Timeline view.

Ahhhh... I figured I must have done something differently! Thank you for the explanation.
It's a bummer because I really like the ability to schedule sub-tasks on the timeline. That's not available on regular Jira boards, right?
