Hi. We have 2 departments. They need see time reports for their employees. But. 1. Only for their employees, without second department 2. Only time report, without issues body. It's possible?
Hi Viktar,
1. It is possible, if you're using Jira User Groups for defining departments. So that you can select Groups in Time Reports options then.
2. You may hide issue details in report, by selecting Group by: Worked User and Hide Details, please see https://primetimesheet.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/327709/Display+the+timesheet+table+by+user+and+date and https://primetimesheet.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/327696/How+to+see+issue+Summary+title+in+case+of+Group+by+option also.
Thank you.
How does this prevent users from choosing a different group or editing the reporting settings?

@Andriy Zhdanov - this makes sense if Viktar is using the Simply Flexible Timesheet add-on. Is that what he's using? I wasn't clear on this from his original question. 🤔

@Tony Montana - hi Viktar! To clarify, are you asking about the Time Tracking Report (under "Reports")?
If so, there's no way to configure that particular report beyond the available options. Filtering by Fix Version is probably the only real option, but fix versions shouldn't really map to departments... 🤔

@Tony Montana - can you describe how the reports are being retrieved right now?

@Dave Liao As in JIRA. I'm wondering if it is possible to make a person see the time ONLY of his subordinates (in the hierarchy, for example), but does not see what this time refers to (request body)?

@Tony Montana - to clarify - where in Jira?
Are you using an add-on to pull this info? Can you share a screenshot?

@Dave Liao No, we use clear JIRA Software without additional plugins

@Tony Montana - generally, if you (or a manager) can see the work log (time spent) of a particular issue, you can see the other information (like Summary) also. It's not possible natively to see only part of an issue.
It's either all or nothing, for a given issue.

@Dave Liao Yes. Do you have any ideas how this can be implemented? Plugins, REST API, something else, any thoughts? Buy is not a problem.
