Subtask in epic convert into issue in epic

I accidently moved an epic into another epic as a subtask .... 

My main goal was to move it as a story into "another epic". Now i dont find a way to fix my fauxpas.

So do you mean that you used Move feature to move an epic and you made it a sub-task under a story associated with another epic? You should be able to use Move to change the sup-task to a Story and then edit the story and add the epic link to the desired epic.

Unfortunatelly if i get it right, i moved it into a subtask. If i want to move it now, i need to change the parent. That all doesnt works out as i expected
