Sub task estimation

It would be a much better experience if we could input sub task estimates from the Story view that shows the list of all subtasks in a table rather than having to open each one. Is there a way that I am just not seeing?

There's no way to do this directly in Jira unfortunately, but you can use an app like mine (Visor) and it's bi-directional integration with Jira to create table views that include any issue (and subtask) data you want to view, update, or share.

You can push your updates back into Jira too, giving you a faster, less tiresome way to make edits and updates to your Jira data.

So, you could use Visor to input subtask estimates and even use our dashboard view to present this data as a report too.

You can also use Visor custom fields to add supplemental information to your Jira issues that you want to keep outside of Jira itself, or that can't be stored anywhere in Jira.
