Story Points selector?

Just curious if anyone has come up with a selector (dropdown or other) for Story Points so it's not just a simple input field?

I can't believe this hasn't been added/fixed yet.

There has to be an easy way to limit the possible values and allow the users to select values from a list or radio buttons or similar.

This same question was asked in the post Is it possible to configure the default Story Points field to be a Drop Down List?

On that post, @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-replied with a way where you could use a separate select custom field, that could be restricted with certain values, and from there it might be possible use something like Scriptrunner in order copy this string value into the corresponding numeric field.

Granted I think this solution can work, but it is not as simple as a radio box option to set this up within JIRA.

Except that radio-boxes are simply select lists with a different front-end for the user.

You need either an add-on to provide a select-list or radio-box field that tells JIRA it is a number rather than a string, or a way to translate it from select to number.
