Stop Jira Form from labeling issues with the name of the form

I like Jira forms - they make it simpler for people to contribute issues.

However right now my Jira form always labels the Issues it creates with the name of the form used to create the issue. I don't need this - it just adds noise. 

And worse yet it actually creates two labels - I don't know why.

Is there a way to turn off this automatic label creation?

There's a feature request to address this behaviour: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-92173

As a workaround, you can follow one of the two approaches suggested in this feature request.
