Status checkbox dropdown selection is not working as expected.

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
whenever I try to click on a checkbox, it gets reshuffled and the checkbox I clicked gets changed to another.
for instance, If I click on "in progress", "manual testing" gets unchecked. if I try again then the second value in the list get unchecked and so on.
