I encountered a "Site Maintenance" message while trying to access my Atlassian Cloud instance. The message indicated that the site was unavailable due to scheduled maintenance. However, when I checked the Atlassian Status page, all services, including Jira and Confluence, were marked as operational.

To troubleshoot, I:

  1. Cleared my browser cache and cookies.
  2. Verified the maintenance window details on the provided links.
  3. Tried accessing the site from a different browser and device.

Despite these steps, I still cannot access my instance. Could you please help to understand what problem is it?

Hi @Yuliia Tymchyshyn

In rare cases, your instance might get stuck in a maintenance window even when no maintenance is actually occurring. This can happen, for example, if your subscription/trial expires during scheduled maintenance, causing the system to get stuck. This is a known bug.  (Check this links: JAC Ticket , Related Community Post )

If Statuspage shows all services are operational, the best solution is to contact Atlassian support for assistance, as Manoj recommended.

Site maintenance ensures your website stays secure, functional, and up-to-date:

  1. Optimize Performance: Improve speed and responsiveness.
  2. Update Security: Apply updates and back up data.
  3. Refresh Content: Keep information relevant.
  4. Check SEO: Optimize keywords and metadata.
  5. Fix Bugs: Resolve errors and broken links.
  6. Enhance UX: Test navigation and design.

Regular upkeep ensures reliability and usability.
