Service Desk - Cannot Link to Knowledge Base


I can't seem to create the KB inside of JIRA - it comes back with the error message Client must be authenticated to access this resource.

We have JIRA and Confluence setup with an application link. Outgoing and ingoing are setup as trusted and Oauth is enabled.

Never mind.. I was logged in as a local JIRA admin who did not have access to confluence...

Logging in a user with access to both applications resolved the issue.

Hope this helps someone else.


This was my problem as well. I was logged in as admin on confluence and as my regular username in JIRA. Once I switched to the same user name in Confluence, I was able to create the knowledge space.
