Hello!

We have the SF to JIRA 2 way connector set up in our organization. I want to do 2 things every time a new SF case is associated to a ticket in JIRA:

1. Create and update a custom field on the board which shows the number of associated cases. Can this be done?

2. Send an email to a few users. For the email, I have created a group and added the right people in it. I set up an automation but it's not working. Here's the automation:

Hi @Abhay Kulkarni

You are using the Appfire Connector. Please do the following:

- Add the Association and Association count fields to your Jira Screens.

We mention those two fields here:

https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CSFJIRA/pages/470754311/Using+JQL+to+report+on+Jira+issues+with+associations

The only caveat is that they will be empty if you didnt add those two fields from the beginning to any Jira screen.

The only way(at the moment) to update those fields is to:

- Create a new association

- Unlink an existing association

Those actions will trigger the field update.

BTW, you need to add BOTH fields. If you only use one, they won't work. They work together.

Regards

Aaron
