Reply-to email on JIRA comment mentions is the user's email and not JIRA global/project email.

When we upgraded our instance to the most current JIRA version, the emails sent from JIRA to users that were mentioned in the comment havea Reply-To email address, defaulting it to the user's email address instead of the JIRA email. Thus, email replies to JIRA comment mentiones are not being logged as comments as they are being sent directly to the user that input the comment.

I've searched through various documentation and cannot locate how to change the reply-to back to the JIRA email so that emails get logged as comments. Does anyone know how?

Notifications sent from mentions are different than those sent without mentions and there is currently no configuration that allows you to set the reply-to for mentions to be the JIRA issue. There are improvement requests for these to be the same or at least allow an administrator to make them the same: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-30852
