Im trying to update some of our Apps in Jira to the latest version but i get a problem and i can only update them manually. I get this error: "Problem accessing the Automation for Jira file."
I tried to delete the app cache and restart Jira but the error is still there.
please try to find out if from atlassian-jira.log there are more information available why the upgrade fails using UPM method.

Can you try to download the jar file to the computer then upload it?
Let 's go this way and see if it will work.

@Adrian Criado what are you seeing on the logs once you restart Jira?
Is it the only plugin you are having this problem with?

If you are unable to upgrade all plugins, I am suspecting a change at the network level.
If you have access to the server, try to go to the home directory then logs to check them. It is the only one place where you will be able to see the problem
Also to help, here is a link with where all the useful log files are located:

Please don't hesitate to ask any question
Best of luck!

@Adrian Criado UPM is the system plugin that is critical to update any plugins in Atlassian Tools. If UPM can not connect to the Marketplace then there is a problem with it.
Please check if no change was made to network or server Jira is installed on. It looks like UPM is unable to reach the Marketplace.

Also try to google the error message you are getting see if it will give you some hints.
