I'm using Jira Data Center 9.4.15. I created a plan that includes 2 shared teams. The issue source is each team's respective board so that I can display sprints on the timeline. I only want to see a subset of issues in the plan; those related to a specific subset of work. It should include 10 issues. So, I filtered the plan on the roadmap tab to display only issues from each plan that are assigned to two specific releases. The roadmap tab looks correct. However, when I navigate to the dependencies tab, I see all dependencies between the two team boards (all issues), not just the 10 I filtered. Does the filter not carry forward to the dependency view?
@Jennifer Maurer I've only got Cloud in front of me to sense check with but basically as far as I recall: The Filter button at the top of the timeline view applies purely there
If you want a filter logic to apply across other areas of the plan persisently, you're best off going into the Issue Sources for the plan and having it pull only the issues you define as relevant there
OR you could consider removing the irrelevant issues manually in the timeline view by selecting them and using Bulk Actions -> Remove from plan
If that doesn't work I'll fire up a DC sandbox to see if there's another option 👍
I thought I read somewhere that the only way to see the sprints on the timeline is to use the Board as the issue source. Anyone know that to be true (or false?)
